Hi Vansh,

First of all if at all you want to improve your marks why don't you do it from CBSE board itself. Now coming to your question, it's not just JEE or NATA colleges but none other colleges accept marksheet or pass certificate from two different boards at the same time. So you must either reappear and improve your marks from the CBSE board itself or appear for all the subjects from NIOS and then use that one particular board certificate only, whichever you find it better.

Hope this answers your query.

Hello Surender

Congrats for scoring 73 percentile in JEE main paper 2.

We can't say that what NIT you wil get but we can predict the rank with this percentile .

There is a pedicted formula from our team to predict rank

Total No of students = 145386

Formula

Probable Rank= ( 100 - your NTA percentile ) x 145386 / 100

So your predicted rank  =39,254 approx

Our Team predicted that the qualify cutt off would be above 85 percentile .But it just a prediction .So pleae wait till april.

Hello Aspirant
.
It is difficult to predict the college by your percentile score you have to wait for official results which were released on the month of April after the second exam on April is conducted. You have more chances to get nit Nagpur as per previous years cutoff.
.
Use this formula to predict the rank:
.
  • Rank Formula = (100 - your total score) X 145386 /100.
  • Your expected rank is 13142
.
Your rank may differ from the official cutoff and results which were released on the month of April by national testing agency NTA officially.
You have to wait for the official results.if you want to compare with previous years cutoff of b.arch .you can go through the below links:

If you have any questions further let me know.
.
Thank you!!!!

It would be difficult to provide you the exact qualifying score or admission cutoff as JEE Main is being counducted twice by NTA for the first time and rank will be based on NTA percentile score which will be decleared in the month of April after the both of the session ( Jan & April).

As a total No. of 1,45,386 candidates had appeared for January Session, Using the Formula (100-your score)* 1,45,386 / 100- Your Expected rank will be 53,792. With this rank the chances are less to get a seat in NITs.

You can also prefer the previous year cutoff to take an idea about.

I would suggest you to appear again for the exam.

Good Luck!

Hello S.Swethaa Sukumar,

Depending on last year's cutoff it will be difficult to get admission in NIT (National Institute of Technology) through general category. You have an opportunity to again give JEE Mains in April to improve your score.

All the best!

Thanku.

Hello prakash

Well, it's very difficult as of now,to predict the cutoff for JEE mains paper 2 based on percentile. You can first calculate your rank by rank=(100-percentile)*145386/100.With this rank, you can compare previous year's cutoff for different colleges and can predict some of the colleges you may be getting. But remember this is not the final rank.It will change based on the april session of mains. For more colleges visit https://engineering.careers360.com/jee-main-college-predictor  .Hope this helps.

Good Luck

HELLO ARUN!

This year result is declared in the terms of percentile as exam held in different session. It is difficult to maintain the same level of paper with same syllabus. So NTA adopted percentile to declare result so that no one get disadvantage of tough paper. If you calculate score and it is around 150,then sure it will be around 150 with 33 percentile, don't worry about score.Your score will be around 150.Best percentile from 2 phases will be considered for merit list. You still have one attemot for jee mains 2019.

You can ask if you have any other queries.

GOOD LUCK!
