PT. Dr. Shiv Shakti Lal Sharma Ayurved Medical College, Ratlam, was set up in the year 2001 and has become one of the leading and prestigious colleges delivering education in the field of Ayurved for the state of Madhya Pradesh in India. This affiliated college is situated in Ratlam and is recognised by CCIM which makes it provide quality education in traditional Indian medicines. Stretched over 8 acres, the college has 4 courses in 2 degree programmes and total admitted students are 342. The institute possesses a total of faculty members including 59 members to assure a favourable student-teacher ratio at IMD. Due to this commitment and emphasis on Ayurvedic studies, the college has virtually emerged as one of the major providers of this approach to medicine in the area.
PT. Dr. Shiv Shakti Lal Sharma Ayurved Medical College offers all amenities to foster learning to its students.The hostels are provided for both boys and girls with 120 and 150 bed capacities respectively. The college library is endowed with a knowledge resources centre and library which is quiet lavish and informative in fueling the students with knowledge in the field of Ayurveda. Training wise, the college has well maintained laboratories for all the departments needed the practical sessions. A Shraddha Hospital is attached with the college in which students are giving practical exposure to clinical studies. For a well rounded education programme, the college has facilities for sports and a gym for body building. Also, it has an event hall for seminars and other occasions, computer systems for instruction purposes in the modern learning world, and a canteen for break and meals.
There are four full time courses offered at PT. Dr. Shiv Shakti Lal Sharma Ayurved Medical College: UG and PG. The flagship programme is Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS), this is the basic level where one can learn Ayurveda. At the postgraduate level, the college offers three specialised MD programmes: MD Kayachikitsa, MD Samhita Siddhanta, and MD Panchakarma are the courses which are taught here. The total intake for all the courses that has been approved is one hundred and eighteen meaning that out of these one hundred are for BAMS while the MD programmes are six each. This wide range of programmes allow the student to gain extensive specialisation on different areas of Ayurvedic system of medicine.
The management of the admission of the PT. Dr. Shiv Shakti Lal Sharma Ayurved Medical College is fairly standard based on the scores that the students make and also their performance as per the rules and regulations of the regulatory bodies. However, for the BAMS programme, the intakes are provided through the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test NEET UG that is offered for medical programmes all over the country. Admission is done after the candidate has passed the NEET with the admission cut off marks that are set. For postgraduate programmes (MD Kayachikitsa, MD Samhita Siddhanta and MD Panchakarma), the admission will be based on NEET PG ranks.

It have all the necessary equipments and classroom are enough large. Laboratories have all equipments to perform different types of test. Library is very good and spacious and have all types of books related to the field.

With your marks , you have failed to qualify Neet examination but in order to be eligible for getting admission in MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BHMS etc even in private colleges for management quota seat or anywhere you must qualify Neet examination

Hey dear, neet cutoff varies year to year, if you see the last year's cutofr which went very high that even students getting 500 marks were unable to get a govt. Mbbs college. So with 340 marks being general candidate, you have no chances for govt. Mbbs seat. Although, you can go for bams and bhms. You can also use college predictor through this link:
