Admission Process Degree

BA: The Bachelor's undergraduate degree is at Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru College and with overall intake of 170 seats for the BA program, the admission into this program is based on their performance in qualifying examination (10+2). The total fees payable for the BA program are Rs 18,000.

B.Sc.: Two B.Sc. programs are available through the college one is Bio Group and the other is as per Mathematics Group. The Bio Group in B.Sc. has 145 seats for admission, on the other hand, there are 70 seats in the B.Sc. Mathematics Group. Admission criteria for this program are made based on the performance of the candidate in the 10+2 examination with relevant subjects. The fee amount for both B.Sc. Programs is Rs 22,500.

BCA: The Bachelor of Computer Applications has a minimal intake capacity with only 30 seats available for this program. Admission to BCA is based on the merit through the entrance test organized by the college. The total fee for the BCA program is Rs 45,000.

PGDCA: There are 80 seats allocated for the Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Applications program. Admission is made on the basis of the graduate degree of the candidate and academic performance. PGDCA has a fee of Rs 15,000.

M.Sc: The department has an M.Sc program in Computer Science, Zoology, Botany, and Chemistry. Admission to each of these has limited seats: 25 for Computer Science, 20 seats each for Zoology and Botany, and 15 for Chemistry. All these admissions are based on the performance of candidates in their respective bachelor's degrees.

MA: Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru College offers MA programs in Hindi and Political Science, to which both have an intake capacity of 20 seats. Admission is based on the performance of the candidates in the bachelor's degrees in the relevant subject or related field as well.
