The Baburaoji Gholap College is one of the prominent institutions. It offers undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in various fields and also a doctoral degree in some disciplines. PDEA's BGC has earned a repute for its quality education, as seen in its accreditation by NAAC.

PDEA's BGC has primarily merit-based processes for admissions wherein the meritorious students are selected for the different programs. The college normally begins its cycle of admissions for the year which starts during the months of June-July.

The candidates who have passed 10+2 from a recognized board are eligible to apply for undergraduate programs. Application Process

Steps followed for applying to Baburaoji Gholap College in PDEA are as follows:-

1. Log in to the college website and search for the admissions page.

2. Download the application form for the applied program. Fill the application form accurately and don't leave a single column empty.

3. Collect all necessary documents. It may include 10th and 12th standard mark sheets

Graduation mark sheets (in case of PG and Ph.D. applicants)

• Transfer certificate
• Migration certificate (if applicable)
• Caste certificate (if applying under a reserved category)
• Recent passport-size photographs

4. The college admission office should be approached before the date specified with the duly filled application form along with all relevant documents.

Degree wise Admission Process

B.A, B.Com, and B.Sc: Three years Undergraduate courses are the major components of PDEA's BGC. Admission to these courses is done strictly on the merit of marks obtained in the qualifying 12th standard examination. Various specializations under these streams cater to the varied interest of the students.

BBA in Computer Applications. This is that sort of management course which mixes business administration with computer applications. Basis of admission: 12th standard mark. This stream takes students, who are mainly science or commerce with maths.

B.Voc Programs: BGC of PDEA offers modern programs under B.Voc programs in the following areas: fashion technology, software development, travel and tourism management, retail management, and beauty therapy and aesthetics. The curriculum is skill-based and enhances employability.

M.A., M.Com, and M.Sc: These postgraduate courses that last for two years admit based on performance during the respective three-year bachelor degrees. The specializations offered include Economics, English, History, Marathi, Political Science, Botany, Chemistry, Physics, Computer Science, and Environmental Science.

MBA: The PDEA BGC is offering an MBA course that focuses upon managerial and leadership skills. Its admission is also based on the graduation marks, while some institutes will also consider the personal interviews conducted.

Ph. D. Programmes Doctoral courses in Economics, Physics, Chemistry, Environmental Science, and Commerce are available. Admission to the programmes is on the basis of entrance test and/or interview, subject to scrutiny of the research proposal of the candidate.
