Purbanchal B.Ed. College was established in the year 2015 and now is one of the affiliated colleges at Murshidabad in West Bengal. This co-ed institution is committed to providing education in the teaching field, and it offers two regular courses: B.Ed. and D.El.Ed. The college has been sanctioned by NCTE. This compact campus covers an area of 1 acres. Thus, with 185 students in the student enrolment and a faculty strength of 16, Purbanchal B.Ed. College is an apt environment for the proper learning and development of budding educators.

Infrastructure: This institution offers various facilities to make the college life of students easier. There is a library equipped with adequate books so that it can function as a knowledge centre for both the students and staff. The merit-based admission procedure to Purbanchal B.Ed. College considers marks obtained in the qualifying examination and/or Entrance examination. This college follows the policies prescribed by the state government of West Bengal and the affiliating university. The candidates need to have graduation or post-graduation from a recognized University to be qualified for admission in the B.Ed. course.
