Pushpagiri College of Pharmacy situated in Thiruvalla, Kerala state and was set up in the year 2004. This affiliated college recognised by Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) & National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). Located on a campus area of 5.3 acres, the college has an overall strength of 450 students with 37 faculty members. Pushpagiri currently delivers 4 courses in three degrees with a focus on pharmaceutical education. The college also prides in affording its students a mix of both male and female, with 88% being females while 12% are males, and level of study 85% being undergraduates while 15% are postgraduates.

Having outlined the importance of facilities in enhancing the performance of students, Pushpagiri College of Pharmacy offers a wide package of the said facilities to nurture the total development of students. For instance, the boys and girls have different hostels that can provide furnished rooms, uninterrupted study space, and around the clock security. A modern healthcare center equipped with all the facilities catering the health care needs of the students is equipped while a super speciality medical facility also caters the same requirements of its students. Our college library covers an area of 2300 square feet and has sectioned seating for more than 150 students while it has an array of resources. For the physical health requirements a gym and other various sports facilities are also provided. The air-conditioned computer laboratory with several PC and Connectively aids students technological requirements. Some of the facilities are canteen, auditorium, internet connection, special laboratories and banking facilities with ATMs within programme.

In total, Pushpagiri College of Pharmacy hosts four courses which are all full time programmes. These are one undergraduate level programme (B.Pharma), two postgraduate level programme (M.Pharma Pharmacy Practice and Pharm.D Post Baccalaureate) and a professional doctoral level programme (Pharm. D). The intake of the college is around 450 students through all the subjects offered in college. There is no detail graduation data for the current year but analyzing the courses offered by the institution and the quality of facilities available it can be concluded that the institution delivers quality education in the faculty of pharmacy.

Pushpagiri College of Pharmacy offers admissions based on certain programmes and admissions are offered following a different process for each programme. Selection criterion for the M.Pharm course is merit only as per the norms prescribed by the Government of Kerala and Kerala University of Health Sciences as per the Pharmacy Council of India norms. The admission pattern of the Pharm.D and Pharm.D Post Baccalaureate programmes is very different with 50% of the total merit seats are filled by the Government/University on merit basis of the qualifying examination as per rules & regulation of reservation and fee structure of Kerala Govt./University. The remaining 50 percent seats are being taken by the respective Management in accordance to norms set by state government. 20% seats of Each branch are reserved for D. Pharm candidates Both merit and management quota System for Pharm D programme. The B.Pharma admission process is not out in details, however, it is expected that the admission requirements should be based on merit.
