Queens College of Arts and Science for Women, Pudukkottai, recognied in 2018, is a youthful university focused on female education in Tamil Nadu, India. This college is located at Punalkulam which is near to Thanjavur district, and the college covers an area of 6 acres. It has a general student enrolment of 224 total and has a strength of 18 faculties that facilitates an intimate learning setting. Queens College offers total of 12 courses in seven-degree programmes that encompass arts, science and commerce faculties. It exists for female students to promote full-time undergraduate and postgraduate studies hence the role of enhancing their academic and career development.

Queens College of Arts and Science for Women has many modern facilities to aid the college in the provision of education. It is regarded as the power house of the institution, holding more than 6,326 books and 50 journals in order to facilitate resources for the students to serve their academic needs. For students who prefer living away from their homes, the college provides a warden controlled girls’ hostel with study and recreation facilities including an entertainment hall and well equipped play fields. Internet facility of 100 Mbps has also been installed to facilitate the students in sheer surfing of any material available on the internet. Well-built classroom and proper ventilation, use of modern equipments like LCD projectors makes the teaching learning process more effective. The college also has well equipped laboratories for subjects like; Physics and computer science, so that the students can be taken through practical knowledge as they try to grasp the theories.

Queens College of Arts and Science for Women have been design to offer a broad curriculum to cater for all learners’ needs. The institution offers 10 programmes in the undergraduate level and 2 programmes in postgraduate level, but all these are full courses. The under graduate programmes are B.A Tamil and English, B.Sc Mathematics, Physics, computer Science, Hospital Administration, B.B.A, B.C.A, B.Com with Computer application and without the computer application. At post graduate level , this college offers Masters in commerce(M.Com)and Masters in Science (M.Sc) in Computer Science.
