R3S College of Education, Baruipur which is a stand-alone College was established in the year 2015 at Baruipur of Kolkata, West Bengal. This co-educational institution is recognised by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), to promote quality standards in the education of teachers. R3S College of Education is situated in a small piece of land of area 0.37545 acres, which bestows a specific educational environment for those wishing to have a successful career in this sphere. The college presently possesses 8 faculty members whose main aim is to produce teachers of the future.

At present R3S College of Education has only one full time course of two years’ duration leading to Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed). This is a two-year programme in the training of teachers specialising in the lower primary classes. This college has an intake capacity of 50 seats for this course and will prepare- teachers offering an individualised teaching environment.

Admission policy of R3S College of Education is in conformity with the policy of the State Government with regard to admission. In most of the cases, they require the mark obtained in the qualifying examination in order to admit the applicants.
