Raajdhani Engineering College otherwise known as REC, was founded in 2006 and it is based in Bhubaneswar, Odisha. This college is an affiliated college under the AICTE education act and offers the extensive scope of diploma, undergraduate and postgraduate courses in engineering, management and computer applications. Slightly spread over 15 acres area REC Bhubaneswar has total intake capacity of 2520 students and 219 faculty members. It offers 20 courses in 5 degrees, with focus areas in different engineering, computer science and management fields. REC is recognised by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), thereby guarantees quality in its provision of education as per laid down excellence.

The college also provides innovative under graduate technology programmes like, B.Tech in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning and B.Tech in Data Science for 60 students each.

The admission process of REC Bhubaneswar is well systematic when it comes to joining one or the other course of the institute. For B.Tech courses students must obtain rank in JEE Main conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA) or OJEE. M.Tech follows the GATE or OJEE test and MBA programmes accept the CAT, CMAT, XAT, MAT or OJEE scores. Admissions to MCA is done through OJEE merit score. Many scholarships are available in the college and the main scholarships include the Odisha State Scholarship, Medhabruti Scholarship, Pragati Scholarship, and the REC-Poverty-Cum-Merit Scholarship.
