Raid Laban College is an affiliated college situated in Meghalaya, India and was started in 1984. The college which situated in SHILLONG. Located on a tightly knit 3 acres of land, the college provides subjects in Arts, Commerce, and Science faculties of undergraduate degrees. The total enrolment capacity being 442 and total number of faculty being 43, Raid Laban College is a selective college in its approach to teaching. The college teaches 21 programmes from five degrees including different languages specialty, humanities and sciences for the region’s educational requirements.

Raid Laban College has numerous amenities that are available to the students with a purpose of improving the college experience. Chief of its academic infrastructures is the Mary A. Moore Library Centre having more or less 10,000 books, national newspapers and journals included. Raid Laban College has a diverse set of undergraduate programmes. In total, there are 21 courses in the college. Among them full time B.A. classes with many honours subjects like – Sociology, Political Science, Philosophy, Nepali, Mizo, Khasi, Hindi, History, English, Education and Economics. It is also affiliated in offering Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) courses, which are B.Com (Regular) and B.Com (Hons). In the science stream pupils can do a B.Sc Honors in Botany, Chemistry, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics and Zoology and environmental studies.

With regards to admissions to its various programmes, the college usually takes academic criteria into account especially performance in the qualifying examination exhibiting 10+2 education standard.
