Raja Balwant Singh Shiksha Mahavidyalaya, Chhatarpur: Admission, Courses, Fees, Placements

Raja Balwant Singh Shiksha Mahavidyalaya, established in Chhatarpur in 2015, is an affiliated college situated in Rajnagar near Khajuraho, Madhya Pradesh. It is approved by the National Council for Teacher Education and is offering four bachelors courses. The college occupies a cramped 1-acre land and with a total admissions of 381 students and has 11 of its faculty members. This educational institute offer B.Ed to make students satisfy their educational requirements. 

Raja Balwant Singh Shiksha Mahavidyalaya has developed a number of facilities in order to accommodate the needs of the students. Enough books and journals are available for the students to go through and the experienced staff for running the library to help the students in their skill developmental needs. For physical development, the school has a big play ground that will make the students involved in physical activities such as sports and games. The college is well endowed with a good internet connection and computers which makes student learning modern and effective. There is a cafeteria on the campus whereby students are provided with special diets for staff and students. Also for the students’ convenience, the college has its own transportation facilities and is well connected from different parts of the city. In addition, the institute boasts of Bio, Chemistry, and Physics labs where aspiring science students get practical teaching faculties and equipment.

Raja Balwant Singh Shiksha Mahavidyalaya faculties a total of one programme. These are B.Ed (Bachelor of Education). The B.Ed programme for the teacher training course has an approved capacity of hundred students. The total student intake of the courses are 381. It is available only in full-time regime with the main purpose to equip the students with fundamental knowledge in their chosen spheres.

At Raja Balwant Singh Shiksha Mahavidyalaya the admission procedures differ slightly depending on the course of study. For the B.Ed programme, the admission procedure are on merit and percentage of marks secured in the qualifying examination and/or entrance examination or other processes as per the government policy of the state/U.T. and University.
