Raja Singh College, Siwan: Admission, Courses, Fees, Placements

Raja Singh College is a constituent college under Nalanda Open University, Siwan, Bihar, India. It was established in 1971. It is a co-educational college on Andar Road, near H.P. Petrol Pump, Siwan. More than five decades have passed since its service began. As a constituent college, its aim is to give a new turn to the educational area of this zone. NAAC accreditation assesses and ensures that the academic standards maintained by the institution meet the requirements stipulated by the assessing authority. It has 1611 students enrolled in it and the faculty count is 12.

In addition, a number of facilities to advance the learning of the students in Raja Singh College are there. The college library is a knowledge hub in its own right with large stocks of books and journals and other electronic resources at the disposal of the students. The departmental laboratories in the College, too, are well-equipped with apparatus and technology for practical learning. Various streams of academic courses offered by Raja Singh College, at present, are one principal course: the Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA). It is a full-time three-year course with an approved intake of 60 students, showing the commitment of the college towards quality education in the field of computer science. The course curriculum planned for the B.C.A. course here would equip a student with recent knowledge and skills on computer and its applications and train him to meet any challenge arising due to the ever-changing world of technology. 

Eligibility for admission to Raja Singh College shall be based on academic performance in 10+2 or any other equivalent examination.
