Rajasthan College of Engineering for Women (RCEW) was set up in 2002 in Jaipur, Rajasthan, to cater the need of women engineering aspirants. It is a women only college and seeks to offer quality technical education for the female students in the engineering discipline. Located in a 5 acre land, RCEW has several facilities for providing undergraduate, postgraduate and other programs to its 381 students. As for the faculty, the college has 88 members – all of them professionals, which allows maintaining rather low student teacher ratio.
To support the learning process and to complement the ever-expanding college program, the college offers a great list of facilities. Modern laboratories in and out of over 40 have about 400 computers and sophisticated software to cultivate competence in a wide range of expertise areas. It operates as the information center which provides necessary materials relevant to academic processes. For the physical health of its students RCEW has facilities for sports such as basketball court and a new Kabaddi ground and a state of the art gym. It also has the aspect of health of its students by having a college medical centre where students receive first aid services.
In total RCEW provides 11 courses at 4 degrees with the fields ranging from undergraduate to postgraduate levels. The college emphasizes full time period, regular courses in engineering and management fields. At the undergraduate level of RCEW offers the Bachelor of Technology, Computer Science & Engineering; Electronics and Communication Engineering; Electrical Engineering and Civil Engineering Programmes. In its postgraduate level the college offers M. Tech programmes in Computer Science and Engineering, Power Systems and Digital Communication, MBA and MCA.

The Rajasthan College of Engineering for Women (RCEW) and has been combing excellence in technical education with deep commitment to the teaching of women in shroud engineering disciplines. Most times, the admission cycle of RCEW synchronizes with the academic calendar, and it is expected that the applications from students would usually start flowing in the early months of the year for the new academic session starting in July/August. As of now, primary eligibility criteria for a B.Tech programme stand at successful completion of 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as core subjects. Admission to undergraduate engineering courses is carried out on the basis of marks secured by candidates in relevant entrance examinations, like the JEE Main or state level engineering entrance exam. Admission to M.Tech and other postgraduate courses is done through scores in GATE or the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering. The GATE is generally conducted in the last weeks of January or early February with the announcement of results in March. Separate entrance tests or these national-level tests can be needed for the MBA and MCA admissions.

Degree wise Admission Process
B.Tech: B.Tech programs offered under RCEW are courses imparting knowledge in Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, and Artificial Intelligence with Data Science. Admissions to these programs are based on the merit obtained by a candidate in relevant entrance examinations. There are 360 seats as the total intake for all B.Tech programs, with Computer Science and Engineering having the highest seat intake of 120.
M.Tech: The college offers M.Tech programs in Computer Science and Engineering, Power Systems, and Digital Communication. Admission to these M.Tech programs is selectively based on GATE scores. The total intake in M.Tech programs is of 36 seats, of which Computer Science and Engineering are assigned 18 and the remaining 9 each to Power Systems and Digital Communication.
30: RCEW has an enrollable MBA course with a total intake of 30 seats. This admission process may also involve considering national-level management entrance exam scores, followed by a possibility of interview rounds.
30: MCA: The Master of Computer Applications at RCEW is divided into 30 seats. For the MCA program, there is a possibility of the admission procedure being based on an entrance examination score in conjunction with performance in the qualifying degree.
College have good labs and good internet connection for practical work. Library and reading rooms are there. College holds good position in academic as well as in non-academic activities. Hostels and college campus is cleaned twice a day
The infrastructure of the institute is regular, not eye-catching. Nevertheless, hostels and mess are exceptionally clean and up to the mark. The laboratories, library, gym area are equipped fairly and time to time updated.
A very secure and safe infrastructure of RCEW provided for girls so that they can feel safe here. Rcew has a unique infrastructure, weel furnished in every classroom they provide AC. Fully wi-fi campus.
