Rajasthan Shiksha Mahavidhyalay was established in the year 1967, and it is an affiliated junior college in Jaipur, Rajasthan. This institution occupies a small area of 1.237 acres and is focused on the preparation of teachers. The college has been approved by the National Council for Teacher Education [NNCTE] to ensure quality standards in its educational programme. The University of Rajasthan Shiksha Mahavidhyalay provides two major professional programmes in education for prospective-planned teachers and educators.

The college also attaches importance to technological development with a large ICT lab with computers, projectors, and internet facilities so as to prepare the students for the advanced technology age of education.

The private university of Rajasthan Shiksha Mahavidhyalay currently offers a total of two full-time programmes, out of which both are bachelor's degree programmes. The courses are B.Ed, PGDYT. These programmes are meant to provide students with professional training for and entry into the teaching profession. On average, the college takes 270 students together in both courses; that is why it is very much focused on the course of becoming a teacher.
