Rajat Balika Degree College started in 2014 in Ambedkar Nagar, Uttar Pradesh. Very fee special programme-based teacher education-only college. This college got approval from the NCTE ensuring quality in its educational offerings on the campus, which is spread over an area of 1.3665 acres. With a total enrolment of 355 students and a faculty strength of 35.

The college provides facilities for book reading, e-books, laboratories, hostel facilities, drinking water, electricity where required, and other facilities and arrangements related to admission, examination, and convocation. The Rajat Balika Degree College offers a quite focused curriculum with its two major courses. For instance, this is a two-year, full-time course that prepares the students for teaching at the secondary and higher secondary levels, otherwise known as the Bachelor of Education, or B.Ed. course. The other is the two-year, full-time Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) that attempts to bring out the required competencies in a trainee to engage in teaching at the primary level. While the intake capacity in both the courses is 100 students each, the total seats available in these two programs are 200.
