Rajdhani College of Engineering and Management (RCEM) was founded in the year 1998. The college is situated at Bhubaneswar in Orissa state of India. This affiliated college is located in the Mancheswar Industrial Estate and is spread over a mere half an acre of land. RCEM is an AICTE-affiliated institute, thus following the general norms regarding education quality in the institute. The institute is now having a total of 422 students and 29 committed teachers as its manpower strength.

The college is assured of giving a proper learning atmosphere to its students. The following are actual amenities provided by RCEM to support the students ‘academic and individual development. The campus includes a different place to live as a boys' hostel and a girls' hostel; the girls’ hostel provides messing services by a housemaiden. The college has a full-fledged, air-conditioned library with an open access system. The library has a rich collection of books from popular authors and popular publishing companies, as well as national and international magazines and journals. Circulation facilities, especially e-journal facilities, are also there to enable students to find digital resources. The students of RCEM have sports facilities for recreational activities for physical and sports activities.

RCEM offers two management programmes, the 400-seated two-year full-time MBA programme and the 60-seated 5-year full-time integrated MBA programme. The programmes are intended to offer students the competencies for the acquisition of management knowledge and skills necessary in contemporary organisational settings.

The joining of students at RCEM undergoes a rigorous and competitive procedure. The institute takes CAT (Common Admission Test), XAT (Xavier Aptitude Test), MAT (Management Aptitude Test), ATMA (AIMS Test for Management Admissions), CMAT (Common Management Admission Test), and OJEE (Odisha Joint Entrance Examination) scores for admission. This initial screening is followed by a group discussion and human interview for those who satisfy the minimum standard of the examination scores written by candidates and organized by a faculty committee of senior mentors.
