Rajdhani College of Engineering and Management (RCEM) was founded in the year 1998. The college is situated at Bhubaneswar in Orissa state of India. This affiliated college is located in the Mancheswar Industrial Estate and is spread over a mere half an acre of land. RCEM is an AICTE-affiliated institute, thus following the general norms regarding education quality in the institute. The institute is now having a total of 422 students and 29 committed teachers as its manpower strength. RCEM offers two specialized management programs: a two-year MBA and an integrated five-year MBA with an intake capacity of 300 students in each passing year.

The college is assured of giving a proper learning atmosphere to its students. The normal MBA programme takes a large intake of students and gives focused two-year study in management; on the other hand, the integrated MBA gives long five-year management education enriched with more emphasis on management concepts. The joining of students at RCEM undergoes a rigorous and competitive procedure. The institute takes CAT (Common Admission Test), XAT (Xavier Aptitude Test), MAT (Management Aptitude Test), ATMA (AIMS Test for Management Admissions), CMAT (Common Management Admission Test), and OJEE (Odisha Joint Entrance Examination) scores for admission. This initial screening is followed by a group discussion and human interview for those who satisfy the minimum standard of the examination scores written by candidates and organized by a faculty committee of senior mentors. A merit list is then developed on the basis of the merit rating done above, but admission for students is granted in accordance with the merit list obtained and provided that the available seats are not fully taken already. This is flexibility, especially for intending college students from different backgrounds, as the college accepts different entry examinations.
