Rajeev College of Education – Hassan was started in the year 2004, affiliated to UIET, Mangalore Karnataka, India. This institution is recognised by National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) and offers solely provisions related to Teacher education. The college is contained in a small plot of 1.34 acres which enables the college to provide a concentration of education to the students intending to become teachers. Rajeev College of Education is a small but pack institute with a total intake capacity of 90 students and fifteen facilities for a student-teacher ratio.
It is equipped with some facilities meant to support and improve college learning environment as well as standard of students. The B.Ed program is two years of training in educational theory and practice while the D.El.Ed is meant to offer professional preparation for teachers of elementary education. Such programs are in congruency with the college’s mission to produce competent, professional education professionals for the future.
