This is to train prospective candidates in the area of teaching to equip them for work in secondary and higher secondary schools.

D.El.Ed.: The Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) has an approved intake of 50 students. Admission is based on merit as per marks in the qualifying examination. The college, however, may conduct an entrance exam or follow any other selection process as per state government policies. The two-year diploma course is conducted for preparing teachers at the primary and upper primary level.
