Rajeev Gandhi College at Raisen was established in the year 2001 as an affiliated college in Madhya Pradesh, state of India. Located on a 4-acre property, the institution provides a variety of curricular. The college is fully recognised and accredited with the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) for the education programs and the Bar Council of India (BCI) for the law programmes. Like most institutions of its nature, Rajeev Gandhi College allows both male and female students equal chances of accomplishments. The college has a faculty of 37 hard-working instructors, and the institution aims at offering quality education through the three clear cutting-edge programmes offered for learning, of which cuts across various fields and specialties for the different degrees offered.

Degree-wise Admission Process

Admission to this course is based on merit, considering the marks secured in the qualifying examination (10+2 with Science subjects). Accordingly, the college may conduct an entrance test or apply any other selection process laid down by the state and university. The B.Sc. B.Ed. degree is for 4 years combining B.Sc. and B.Ed. degrees.

B.Ed.:Admission for this program with an approved intake of 100 students is entirely on the basis of the entrance test conducted by  the Madhya Pradesh Vyavasayik Siksha Mandal for which only the candidates who have successfully cleared this admission test are eligible for obtaining admission. This is to train prospective candidates in the area of teaching to equip them for work in secondary and higher secondary schools.

D.El.Ed.: The Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) has an approved intake of 50 students. Admission is based on merit as per marks in the qualifying examination. The college, however, may conduct an entrance exam or follow any other selection process as per state government policies. The two-year diploma course is conducted for preparing teachers at the primary and upper primary level.

The building of college is not good and it doesn't have so many facilities like playground, lab, parking, canteen etc. But has limited facilities like toilet, drinking water etc. And doesn't have hostels either
