Rajendra Institute of Technology and Sciences was established in 2002, and this Haryana-based Sirsa district educational hub has been one of the premier institutes in this locality. This affiliated college, spread over 3.5 acres, is dedicated to the purpose of delivering quality education in the field of pharmacy. The RITS is approved by All India Council for Technical Education, New Delhi, and the Pharmacy Council of India, putting an emphasis on the academic standards and requirements. The total enrolment of students is 199 with a faculty strength of 21, making it an institute where personal attention and care could be given to all students.
It has a host of facilities, duly complemented by technology, to facilitate teaching-learning and all-round development of students. The library occupies an area of 2500 sq. ft. and is well-stocked with books, journals, and magazines. There are two reading halls, quite spacious, that accommodate 100 students at a time. Laboratories at Rajendra Institute of Technology and Sciences are state-of-the-art and well-equipped with apparatuses as per AICTE norms to provide hands-on experience. This commitment to technology is practiced in its computer labs, which are equipped with facilities such as LAN, internet, centralized UPS, laser printers, and scanners. Excellent sports facilities include a football field, a cricket field, basketball and tennis courts, and a well-equipped gym, all geared at making RITS promote a healthy balance between work and life.
RITS offers a total of six different programs in the Department of Pharmacy, among which there is one undergraduate program (B.Pharma) and five postgraduate programs (M.Pharma) with different specialisations. All these programs are full-time and provide the students with in-depth knowledge and practical skills in their chosen areas. The approved intake for the B.Pharma program is 60 students, while for M.Pharma in Pharmacology it is 6 students.

The admission process in Rajendra Institute of Technology and Sciences is easy and purely based on merit. In the case of B. Pharma, the candidate shall have passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/ Mathematics. Admission in M. Pharma is usually given to a candidate possessing a B. Pharma degree from a recognised institution.
