Rajiv Gandhi College of Engineering, Parner was established in 2012. The college is spread over a 7.5 acres campus at Vitthal Nagar, Kokate Vasti, Karjule Harya, Takali Dhokeshwar, Ahmednagar district, Maharashtra. RGCOE is an AICTE-approved affiliated college that offers 6 courses in 2 degrees with different disciplines in engineering. RGCOE provides a conducive atmosphere for technical education and professional development with a total student enrolment of 427 and a faculty strength of 63.

 Rajiv Gandhi College of Engineering is well-endowed with all modern facilities to ensure overall development of students. Its library acts as a comprehensive resource center with a wide range of engineering and technological materials to cater to the needs of the students' research requirements as well as those of the faculty. Rajiv Gandhi College of Engineering, Parner offers altogether 6 courses, including 4 full-time Bachelor of Engineering (BE) programmes and another 2 Diploma courses. The BE programmes are offered in Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electronics, and Telecommunication Engineering, and Electrical Engineering. Besides that, the college offers Diplomas in Mechanical Engineering and Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering.

Major admission to the Rajiv Gandhi College of Engineering, Parner is based on the scores of two major entrance examinations: the Maharashtra Common Entrance Test or MHT CET and the Joint Entrance Examination or JEE Main. Through these two types of standardised tests, the individual's aptitude is examined in very critical subjects, which would form a basis for taking up an engineering course. Admission to the Bachelor of Engineering programmes, which includes Mechanical, Computer, Electronics and Telecommunication, and Electrical Engineering, is awarded based on the performance of an applicant in either MHT CET or JEE Main. That acceptance of dual examination offers flexibility to aspiring students coming from the state and national levels.
