Ram Lakhan Patel Mahavidyalaya, Jalaun, Uttar Pradesh, is a college established in the year 2015. This college occupies a territory of about 2.5 acres and has rapidly found its place on the map of the area’s educational institutions. The institute has four programmes in this regards and it has total number of paying students of 287 and total faculty members are 18. Affiliated with the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), the college offers teacher education courses as well as general arts and science courses. 

Ram Lakhan Patel Mahavidyalaya has various amenities that were put in place with an aim of developing the experiences in session of learners. The course offered at the college are D.El.Ed, B.El.Ed, BA and B.Sc. Teacher education is even more stressed by the D.El.Ed programme that has a total intake capacity of hundred students  and the B.El.Ed programme that has a intake capacity of fifty students only for the session. Programme wise total number of students is 287 which is a good sign in terms of, the numbers enrolled per faculty to ensure that they receive a on to one teaching that can produce good results.

Ram Lakhan Patel Mahavidyalaya integrates flexible admission criteria with regards to the programme of a student’s choice. For the D.El.Ed, course there is merit based admission, which includes the marks received in the qualifying examination as well as and entrance examination if any. The college also follows any other selection process as provided under the policies of the state government or UT administration. These courses admit students on merit basis like most of the universities in Uttar Pradesh.
