Ram Lalit Singh Mahavidyalaya began its journey in the year 2007. This is an affiliated college that has situated in Kailahat, Chunar, Mirzapur, Uttar Pradesh. The institution holds the accreditation of NAAC and the approval of NCTE and BCI. The campus size is 4.58 acres. The college provides 20 courses under the categories of 9 degrees with a total enrollment number of 4,153 students. The college has a faculty strength of 48 and offers many courses besides B.Ed, B.Com, LLB, B.Sc Agriculture, and PG courses. The place has a well-stocked library that acts as a good knowledge hub for students and faculty members.

Case of programs like B.Ed and M.Ed, admission would generally follow the merit of the candidate as well as marks earned by the candidate in the qualifying examinations and/or entrance test. In these courses, admission shall be provided as governed by the policies of State Government/U.T. Administration and/or affiliating university to whom the college is affiliated. Otherwise, other courses take into account the student's past performance results in the qualifying exams.
