Rama College of Education, located in Meerut, is a co-educational affiliated institution, and is recognized by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE). The college runs teacher education programs and follows a well-structured admission process to select eligible candidates.

Admission Process
The admission process offered by the college includes various steps to efficiently offer admission into various teacher training programs:
1. Application Form: The application forms could either be obtained from the college website by contact with the admission office. Forms are available either online or offline.
2. Documentations: In a duly filled application form, the applicants are to attach the following documents:
a) Mark sheets of the qualifying examinations (graduation/post-graduation)
b) ID proof
c) Passport-size photographs
d) Any other document(s) as specified from the college or university
3. Application Fee: The applicants might be required to pay an application fee. Details about the amount and the mode of payment will usually be mentioned in the instructions along with the application.
4. Entrance Examination: A candidate must register for the appropriate entrance examination, upon request, according to government or university guidelines, and should have appeared for said entrance.
5. Merit List: The merit list shall be prepared based on the marks obtained in the qualifying examination and/or entrance examination.
6. Counseling and Seat Allocation: Subsequently, the shortlisted candidates shall be called for counseling wherein the seats shall be allocated based on their merit and availability.
7. Fee Payment: The candidates who would be selected for the program would pay the fee within a given time limit.
8. Document Verification: The college shall verify each and every document presented. The candidates must ensure that every detail given by them is correct and lawful.
9. Orientation: All those students who have been confirmed for admission are invited for an orientation program, which comprises an introduction to the college and the facilities available.
Admission Process per Degree
B. Ed: The Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) course represents the flagship program at Rama College of Education, Meerut. The college has an intake capacity of 100 students for this program.
The procedure of admission for the B.Ed. is:
1. Eligibility: A candidate who has passed graduation or post-graduation from a recognized university is eligible for admission to the B.Ed program.
2. Selection process: Admission is based on merit, based on the marks obtained in the qualifying examination and/or entrance examination.
3. Any Other Conditions: The college may also consider any other selection process as per applicable policy of the state government, U.T. Administration, and the university.
Candidates applying for the B.Ed. program must be sure of their eligibility status and are to appear for the entrance examination, wherever applicable. The college follows a combination of methods to select candidates best suited to the teaching profession.
