Ramakrishna Mission Shilpamandira, Howrah, was established in the year of 1954, and it is one of the premier technical institutes in Belur Math, West Bengal. The affiliated college with AICTE approval offers a diploma course in engineering in the streams of engineering. The student enrollment here is 660, with a faculty strength of 26; it is spread over 6 acres campus.

The library is the heartbeat of this institute, well-stocked with 24,135 books and the capacity to seat 125 students together. It has sport infrastructure with a playground for playing outdoors like football, volleyball, cricket and so on, for health in body. The campus is well equipped with modern IT infrastructure to help in digital learning. There is a canteen that serves lunch and refreshments to the students so they may unwind and recharge. The laboratories for all disciplines in engineering are maintained well and also equipped appropriately. The institute extends accommodation in hostel for boys as well as girls who come from out-of-town. The Golden Jubilee Hall is a well-equipped auditorium that can accommodate over 600 members and serves a daily morning assembly, guest lectures, etc.
