Rameshwar Prasad College, Banda was established in 2016. This co-educational institution sits on an area of 8.05 acres. It offers undergraduate and diploma courses to students. It is approved by National Council for Teacher Education. The number of students in the college is 328, and the number of members of faculty is 28. Four different courses offered here are Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Education, and Diploma in Elementary Education. 

A library composed of centres for academic resources that can hold approximately 30 students; it is an excellent facility for self-study since the stock is substantial - 4,200 books which were written as textbooks, defense books, encyclopedias, journals, and magazines.  The Laboratory of Science that is equivalent to meeting experimental needs for Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. For physical fitness and recreation,Rameshwar Prasad College maintains a playground with badminton, volleyball, and cricket facilities besides a gym. The computer laboratory has 10 computers, making the valuable technology resources available to all students.

Rameshwar Prasad College, Banda offers four full-time courses in various disciplines. Of these, two undergraduate degree courses are BA and three-year B.Sc. Besides, two education focused degree courses offered through B.Ed. and D.El.Ed of two years duration each. The B. Ed and D. El. Ed intake is 50 each.

Admission into the B.Ed programme shall be strictly based on merit by considering marks scored in the qualifying as well as entrance examination wherever prescribed. The selection process shall be accordingly carried out as per the direction issued by the state government/UT administration as well as the affiliated university. For the D.El.Ed programme also, admissions shall be based on merit as marks from the qualifying as well as entrance examination, if prescribed, shall be considered strictly as per the guideline issued by the state government/UT administration.
