Ramgarh Engineering College (REC) was founded in the year 2013, situated at Ramgarh, Jharkhand. The affiliated college, recognised and approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), has acted rapidly on the garment scene and turned into one of the most significant institutions for providing engineering education in the part. The REC which is located in a rather large 24 acre campus enrols 823 students and offers a relatively large number of engineering programmes. It has 66 dedicated teaching staffs, the college thus maintains a student-teacher ratio of 21: 1. REC offers a total of 6 courses spread across two degree levels and offers specific preparation for engineering professions in the different fields of the demanding technological world.

Ramgarh Engineering College has the main aim of offering quality learning experience that is all rounded with a blend of modern teaching facilities. REC’s has provided compus on hostel facilities for boys and girls separately so as to provide comfort to out station students. The hostels are fully prepared with anti-ragging cells and always ensures the highest level of security. The college library as a storehouse of information, it has been stocked with large number of books, journals and other reading materials and electronic resources. Using the Digital Knowledge Centre, students can find e-books and e-journals and can develop the proper research and learning habits. In the field of recreational activities, REC unveiled all its sporting potentials where the students who wanted to engage in sports have facilities of their dream such as a football pitch, a badminton court, a volleyball pitch, and cricket practice pitches among others that foster fitness and spirit of togetherness among the students.

In total, Ramgarh Engineering College has  6 B.Tech  courses. All the undergraduate programmes are four-years full time programmes while the M.Tech programmes will be of likely two years duration. Over the years the college has enroled the following students for various programmes; the total enrolment being 823. The streams that are popular among the students as far as B.Tech courses are concerned are CSE having 180 seats and Civil Engineering with 120 seat capacity. Like other B.Tech Programmes such as Mechanical Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Advanced Communication Technology, and VLSI Design and Technology, NRI will offer 60 seats each. 

Admissions Procedure at Ramgarh Engineering College is justified and efficient in its operation to offer the best talents, the chance to have an education. There are no particularities about the admission process, but in general, the scores of national or state level examinations for B.Tech admission are taken by most engineering colleges.
