This publication aims to present the Ramgarhia Polytechnic College, Phagwara a polytechnic college established in 1950 and located in Phagwara, Punjab – India. An affiliated college offering a span of diploma programmes in various engineering disciplines certified by AICTE for college. Located on the vast piece of land of 18.5 acres, the college offers generalised student throughput of 468 across all its programmes.

Ramgarhia Polytechnic College has ensured that there is favorable environment for learning among the students. It has a well-ventilated library with adequate number of books, text books, periodicals, Journal newspapers etc for the academic needs. The campus is well stocked with updated laboratory that give an opportunity for students to practice in their respective areas.. For students who may need to stay in the college the college provide both boys’ and girls’ hostels for students who live outside the town or region. It also has a good information technology compliment to support and promote the use of resources in digital formats to support teaching and learning.

It is noteworthy that RPC provides five complete full-time diploma programmes, and each study course has a three-year curriculum ;- Diploma in Electrical Engineering , Civil Engineering and Mechanical Engineering etc.

The admission policy at Ramgarhia Polytechnic College is done in consultation with The Punjab State Board of Technical Educational and Industrial Training in compliance with the instructions of Punjab Government. The admission procedure is highly centralised, and is based on the annual results of Joint Entrance Test that the Board conducts.
