Rampur Adarsha College of Education, Amdanga was established in the year 2015. It is a co-educational institution situated in the West Bengal region of India. Affiliated college Being an affiliated college, this college has approval by NCTE; it brings out its seriousness towards the quality of teacher education. It houses 100 students who are authorized to take the course. A total of 200 students and 2 teachers comprise the faculty force; thus, it offers an excellent, intensive learning experience to future educators.

The college has several amenities to improve its learners' academic and personality growth. The first is its library. The library can be the learning center, which offers fundamental materials that serve as the backbone of research and studies. Alongside, there are departmental laboratories to provide hands-on experience in the subjects being taught, which forms an integral part of the teacher education program. The health and safety concern is met by a first-aid equipped health center on campus. Sports facilities are available to all students for their physical well-being and recreation. Adding to this convenience is the provision of parking space for faculty, staff, and students who have to travel way out their way to get to campus.

Rampur Adarsha College of Education had conducted a total of two courses; both the said programs are full-time courses geared up to orient students to the learning of education as a career orientation. Both the B.Ed and D.El.Ed courses are two-year programs and have intensive training in the methodologies of teaching and education theories.

Admission to the Rampur Adarsha College of Education is strictly on merit after the marks obtained in the qualifying and/or entrance examination.The college functions according to the policies of admission framed by the state government of West Bengal and affiliating university. In case of B. Ed course, it shall further lay down other criteria as per the university guidelines while forming the selection process. Admission to the D. El. Ed. Admission, of course, will also be on a merit basis, according to the policy of government or that of the administration of UT.
