Rana Pratap Post Graduate College, Sultanpur, founded in 1971, is an important learning centre in Uttar Pradesh, India. An affiliate college having 7.176 acres of land, this college has been around for more than five decades. The college is approved by the National Council for Teacher Education and currently runs 14 courses under 5 degree programmes. Other courses at this degree level, which are in great demand, are the MA in Geography, Sociology, Hindi Literature, Sanskrit Literature, Ancient History, and Political Science, making it self-finance. Specialised BA and B.Sc. courses are offered in Geography and Defence Studies under the self-finance category. This provides an ample number of courses for the students to realise their ambition. 

The admission procedure at Rana Pratap Post Graduate College will be based on merits and will be transparent. In most courses, admissions are made on the basis of marks in the qualifying examination.
