Ranchi Institute of Neuro Psyciatry & Allied Sciences (RINPAS) , affiliated college ,established in 1925 is situated at Kanke,Ranchi ,Jharkhand. The smaller sized specialised institution is Department of Psychiatry together with the focus on mental health, education and research, and this offers 7 courses in 4 levels of degrees. Authenticity of education at RINPAS is confirmed by National Medical Commission (NMC) in India.

Ranchi Institute of Neuro Psyciatry & Allied Sciences has numerous amenities to enable the academic and research activities of the institute. What can be considered as the integral component of RINPAS is it’s effectively developed central library, which store over 19,162 books and 5,684 numbers of journals. The library also has two patient libraries for leisure, something that Mental health institutions are good at. Admission to RINPAS depends on the programme of study as detailed below. NEET PG qualification is mandatory to apply for the MD Psychiatry programme of GIMS. This is actually a national-level examination which is important for everyone who wants to become a psychiatrist.
