Sports facility is there, which develops physical fitness and sense of team work in students. The college is still at par in today's educational context by investing very good IT infrastructure. At the departmental levels, there are laboratories that provide hands-on experience—these are quite essential in the practical training for teachers. There is an auditorium where so many events and seminars are conducted, providing a very vibrant academic atmosphere. It also has different hostel buildings for both boys and girls to provide convenient stay for the students coming from diverse regions.

Rangia Teacher Training College imparts a curricular concentration through the flagship program in Bachelor of Education, or B.Ed. This is a two-year full-time course which prepares students for productive careers in teaching. It has an approved intake of 100 seats, which reflects its commitment towards quality in education, catering for a large number of aspiring teachers. The B.Ed. course is prepared in such a manner that it imparts an overview of education theories, teaching methodologies, and classroom management skills in practice.

Admission to Rangia Teacher Training College is strictly on merit as guided and ruled by the state government and the concerned university. The admission process is mainly based upon the performance at the qualifying examination and entrance tests or such other selection processes, if any prescribed.
