Rani Meyyammai College of Nursing at Annamalainagar, which was started in 1995, is a prestigious college offering course in nursing. It is an affiliated college situated in Tamil Nadu to offer the best quality education for nursing; the college is approved by the Indian Nursing Council (INC). The institute occupies approximately 1.79 acre of land through which different facilities are availed to the learners. This college has a faculty of 19 talented and experienced professionals, the college offers 7 different courses under three different degree: B.Sc Nursing, M.Sc Nursing with different specialisation and Ph.D. Nursing.
Rani Meyyammai College of Nursing has put up considerable facilities with the aim of improving on the learning process of the students. Total area of the library: 5800 sq.ft The library is stocked with over 5,131 books, and has access to 25 national and 7 international journals enabling the students to get as much knowledge as they want. Lecture laboratory: The computer lab with Web-based computers and technically designed software helps students address their educational and research needs. The college boast of well equipped practical such as Nursing Foundational, Pediatric,Obstetrics/Gynaecological Nursing, Community Health Nursing, Nutrition, and Computer Laboratory. Students also can use other labs in Rajah Muthiah Medical College for using subjects like Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry, and Microbiology.
Rani Meyyammai College of Nursing has complete courses in nursing education. The college offers seven courses, one B.Sc Nursing, five M. Sc Nursing with Paediatric Nursing, Medical Surgical Nursing, Obstetrics & Gynaecological Nursing, Community Health Nursing, Psychiatric Nursing and Doctor of Philosophy in Nursing. All courses are full time to allow for concentrated learning Since all courses are full time the students get to focus fully.
