Rao Lal Singh College of Education, Gurugram, was basically founded in the year 1974. It is one of the premier institutions of teacher education. The co-educational college is situated on the Delhi-Jaipur NH-8 in Sidhrawali Village. It occupies an area measuring about 3.6 acres. This is an affiliated college, and it has been accredited by NAAC and approved by NCTE. The college offers three full-time degree courses, namely B.Ed, M.Ed, and D.El.Ed, to a total of 264 students. This is quite a reasonable student to teacher ratio; it stands at 264 to 18, hence allowing for close attention to and quality teaching in the field of teacher training.
