Rathna College of Nursing, Hassan, was started in the year 2003 and is one of the most feasible nursing college in Karnataka, India. This is a co-educational college situated in 3rd Cross, K.R.Puram, Hassan and affiliated with the D.H.S; Kuvempu University Shimoga. It has been approved under the affiliation model by the Indian Nursing Council (INC). The campus occupies 2 acres of land and gives all learners the best environment for their learning, training and skills practice. The college has 257 students and 33 of teaching faculty, thus, the student teacher ratio is good that means that our students will receive the attention they deserve and quality education.

Rathna College of Nursing has host of facilities which aim at improving the teaching and learning facilities as well as the learning abilities of the students. The library an important centre of academic materials is well furnished with all necessary books, journals and newspapers for the students to study. In their capacity as practical training facilities, the college has well equipped, ample laboratories manned by qualified personnel. Rathna College of Nursing offers two full-time nursing programmes, B.Sc Nursing an under graduate course of four year and Post Basic B.Sc Nursing for two years. Since both programmes are approved only 40 intakes for each and both of it in every academic year the institution is offer 80 seat.
