Rathna College of Nursing, Hassan, was started in the year 2003 and is one of the most feasible nursing college in Karnataka, India. This is a co-educational college situated in 3rd Cross, K.R.Puram, Hassan and affiliated with the D.H.S; Kuvempu University Shimoga. It has been approved under the affiliation model by the Indian Nursing Council (INC). The campus occupies 2 acres of land and gives all learners the best environment for their learning, training and skills practice. The college has 257 students and 33 of teaching faculty, thus, the student teacher ratio is good that means that our students will receive the attention they deserve and quality education. Rathna College of Nursing provides two nursing programmes for the students who are interested to make their careers as specialized nurses at entry level as well as for those who have already established them as general nurses.

Rathna College of Nursing offers two full-time nursing programmes, B.Sc Nursing an under graduate course of four year and Post Basic B.Sc Nursing for two years. Since both programmes are approved only 40 intakes for each and both of it in every academic year the institution is offer 80 seat. These courses are intended to give learners all round knowledge in theory as well as the practical knowledge they require in order to excel in nursing. The total enrolment of the college is equal to the number of students that college can admit in a year is 257 this shows that there is a market for colleges programmes or intakes.
