Rayat Bahra College of Education was setup in year 2008 in Hoshiarpur in Punjab, that  focuses on training the teachers. This co-educational college is an affiliated college present in V.P.O- Bohan, Tehsil, Dist- Hoshiarpur and aims at producing future educators. The college has successfully secured membership with the NAAC as well as gets its approval from the NCTE, in an endeavor to provide quality education. faculty employment stands at 10 qualified teachers and the college avails a B.Ed course on the basis of 100 student enrolment every academic year.

Rayat Bahra College of Education has a single programme, B.Ed course. The college provides two-year full time course on this programme only. This particular approach helps to focus the efforts and training of the institution to producing competent educators. Approved intake size of B.Ed programme is 100. 

Rayat Bahra College of Education follows the procedures of admissions as given by the state government, the U.T. Administration and the university to which it is affiliated. Candidates are chosen by their results in the qualifying examination and/or entrance tests in relation to the university of their choice, or by recommendation by the school they are graduating from. The college may also use other sifting methods according to the current practices in the colleges. It allows the candidates who have management skills and the passion for the course to be admitted into the B.Ed programme.
