The campus also has two different hostels for boys and girls and it provides comfortable accommodation to the students who live separately from their homes. for the day scholars, B-school has a fleet of buses in good working condition, making it easy for scholars to move between the campus and areas within a sixty kilometer radius.

Rayat Bahra College of Nursing operates a total of three courses, and all these are the full course programmes. Total first year student’s enrolment of the college is 218 for all the courses offered at the college. The B.Sc Nursing is a 4 year’s course of intake capacity 50 students and Post Basic B.Sc Nursing is 2 years Course intake capacity 40 students. The General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) course is one of the four years programme with having total 40 seats availability. These programmes are aimed at the acquisition of the theoretical information and the practical experience of nursing to enhance students success in their future profession.

Procedure for Admission based on Degree

B.Sc Nursing: The duration of study is 4 years and intake capacity is 50 students for this program. Candidates are admitted based on academic performance at 10+2 with Science (PCB) and apart from that the college may also consider marks obtained in relevant nursing entrance examinations.
Eligibility: Candidates must have completed their 10+2 with the minimum aggregate score as laid down by the College.

Post Basic B.Sc Nursing: This is a 2-year program with an intake capacity of 40 students. It is for registered nurses who want to upgrade their qualifications. Candidates must have completed an approved Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) or similar. A valid nursing registration certificate is also required for admission.

GNM (General Nursing and Midwifery): The GNM course is a 3-year-long course and has 40 seats. Admission is directed by the scores of the candidate at their 10+2 level, with some consideration of those with Science subjects. The minimum age for admission is usually about 17 years, and the candidates should have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognized board.
