Rayat Bahra University School of Polytechnic and Skill Development is located in Mohali,Punjab. The institute was set up in 2014 and is one the recognised institute in the region offering technical education and skill development. At present, the School of Polytechnic and Skill Development has six full time diplomas courses offered which have a tenure of three years each. As already noted, the programmes offered by these institutes consist of Diploma in Civil Engineering, Computer Science Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Automobile Engineering. All courses have an intake approved to only accommodate 30 students making it 180 seats across all programmes. It also has clear pragmatic vocational education orientation inherent in its course list which cuts across the entire spectrum of engineering disciplines.
