Rayat Institute of Diploma Pharmacy came into existence in 2003 in SBS Nagar and it is affiliated college situated in Shahid Bhagat Singh Nagar of Punjab. This institute approved by the All India Council for Technical Education offering education in pharmaceutical science only. Located in an area of 5.3 acre, the institute is at present in service to 95 students and is being run by 7 instructors. In this context, the institute provides two programmes in pharmacy, although it concentrates on pharmaceutical education.

Rayat Institute of Diploma Pharmacy offers a two courses, the Post Graduate Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharma) and B.Pharma. These programmes are two-year full-time programmes with an approved intake of 60 students.
