RB PG College, Agra: Admission, Courses, Fees, Placements

RB PG College is an affiliated college of Agra University and is set up at Kalindi Vihar, Agra in 2000 Uttar Pradesh. The institution is divided into a 13.2 acre compound and has unveiled 18 courses under 10 degree programmes. This college has a total of students’ enrolment of 2,055 while the total number of faculties is 41 to ensure the college offer a favorable learning environment. Education: RB PG College is recognised from National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) to provide efficacious teacher education. Some of the provided specialisations include Agriculture, Sciences, Arts, Commerce, Education, and Computer Applications that will appeal to all disciplines.

The many facilities are evident in this college to ensure the student gets the best experience. It has a separate hostel facility for girls and boys thus facilitating proper residential environment for out station students. There is a health center in the campus that consist of first aid facilities for those students who develop diseases and unhealthy conditions. In order to help students and staff commute easily, the college has provided transport facilities. College goers or students who are sports lovers can fully benefit on recreational facilities accorded to colleges and this was intended to help them improve on their physical exercises and group formations. 

It also has an auditorium for events and Seminars to support its cosmopolitan atmosphere embracing the college environment. Facilities in the academic area include a reading hall and section-wise physio graphic and chemical labs. Other services additional to the building include a gym, infrastructure, cafeteria, and guest rooms to enhance the overall campus experience. In total, RB PG College has 18 courses, out of which some are undergraduate and postgraduate courses.

The course developed cuts across disciplines and the majority of the programmes are full time. Prominent undergraduate programs at this college are B.Sc Agriculture, B.Sc (Bio Group and Maths Group), B.A., B.Com, B.Ed., BCA, and BBA. Till the post graduate level, the college offers the following courses: Master of Science in Agronomy, Horticulture, Zoology,botany, Chemistry and Physics; Master of Arts Education; Master of Commerce. It also offers a D.El.Ed programme for students willing to become elementary teachers. In total, student enrolment for all courses is 2055 although it is possible to find the specific student admission figures for B.Ed at hundred and for D.El.Ed at fifty.

All the programs in RB PG College have different admission criteria. The policy of selection of students for admission to B.Ed programme is merit based, According to the marks obtained in qualifying /entrance examination as per the rules of State Government/U.T Administration and University. In case of D.El.Ed programme, the admission is done purely on merit basis in terms of marks in the qualifying examination and/or the entrance examination as per policy of State Government/UT Administration. 

In other programmes, although admission procedures are not elaborated the basis appears to rely on merit.
