RBVRR Women’s College of Pharmacy, started in 2006 is an excellent Pharmacy College situated at Hyderabad, Telangana. PCI approved this affiliated college offers wide number of undergraduate and postgraduate courses in the field of pharmacy.. Located on a limited plot of approximately 0.75 acre, the college has the records of total admission of 484 students and total teaching staff of 27 members. RBVRR women’s college of pharmacy is one of the women’s college which provides the high standard education to the women which offers the six courses in three degree level with the specialization in the Pharmaceutical chemistry, pharmaceutics, pharmacology etc.
RBVRR Women’s College of Pharmacy has the facilities that would enable it to offer the academic plans present in the institution. They include 6597 volumes with 771 titles, 753 e-books, 1627 e-journals and the stock continues to grow to meet the need of students in pharmaceutical sciences. First-Class laboratories provide practical exposure to state-of-art equipments maintained standard as per PCI. Facilities available in the campus include the girls’ hostel equipped with a solar water heating system, a hostel library among others. Minnesota public universities has a health center with first aid facilities for the overall health of students, Canteen serving hygienic food to students, and several facilities for the sports required by students. The college also offers free wireless Internet connection and a gym for learners.
RBVRR Women’s College of Pharmacy offers all type of pharmacy courses. The institute offers 6 courses – B.Pharma at UG level, M.Pharma in Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Pharmaceutics, Pharmaceutical Analysis and Quality Assurance, Pharmacology at PG level and a Pharm.D programme. All, are full time programmes and the duration vary from two years in the case of M.Pharma to six years for Pharm.D. The B.Pharma programme is offered with an intake approval of one hundred students while other programme intakes differ.
RBVRR Women’s College of Pharmacy follows the merit and entrance examinations for admission. For the B.Pharmacy and Pharm.D courses the admissions are offered based on the ranks obtained in the Telangana State Engineering Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test or the Andhra Pradesh Engineering Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test. Based on the counseling the admission is provided with EAMCET 70 % and Management quota with Intermediate marks 30%. For M.Pharma programmes, the candidates must appear and qualify in Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test (GPAT) or Telangana State post Graduate Engineering Common Entrance Test (TS PGECET). The college also admitted students to the management quota and the form can also be downloaded from the college website. The self-financing RBVRR Women’s College of Pharmacy also has provision for scholarship where majority of the students receives reimbursement across all categories. The former college has a functional Alumni Association that was established in 2012 to facilitate former students to contribute to the growth of the college.
