RC Patel Junior College of Education, Shirpur: Admission, Courses, Fees, Placements

RC Patel Junior College of Education, Shirpur was founded in 1990 situated at Shirpur, Maharashtra and also affiliated to an independent college. This is a co-educational institution recognized by the National Council for Teacher Education and training (NCTE). The college has provided Diploma in Elementary Education (D. El. Ed) course with total intake of students one hundred. Currently, there are a total of ten members in the faculty, and the institute has an intake of one hundred and thirty-six students; thus, the institute has a healthy student-teacher ratio.

This college has availed several features aimed at complementing the education learning period for college students. Some of the facilities are hostel for male and female students to enhance comfortable accommodation for those who travel long distance. A knowledge centre is a well-stocked library while laboratory facilities exist on a department by department basis. It also has an auditorium for functions, seminars etc., a canteen for refreshment and a tiny health center including first aid. Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) is the single full time course offered by RC Patel Junior College of Education, Shirpur which mainly deals with the education of teachers. This is two year program intended to equip students with knowledge, skills and attitude necessary for teaching practice in elementary schools. Having an approved intake of 100 seats it depicts the institute’s capability to produce a large number of faculties of future year. As of now, the college have 136 enrolled students, and from this number we may assume that students are from the both years of study.
