The Rebanta Academy of Design, Jabalpur was started in the year 2013 as a fashion and interior design institute in central India. This academy is situated in Jabalpur, the city situated in the state of Madhya Pradesh, India and it offers a limited number of specialized diploma and advanced diploma courses. Though there is information [] about the current ranking and accreditation, the institute has established itself in the area of design education. The academy presently houses a faculty of 10 professionals and provides four courses in two areas of specialization. To support the learning activities of students, Rebanta Academy of Design offers several amenities for use by students. The learning environment of the campus includes extremely comfortable fully air conditioned class rooms with smart board technology as well as updated A/V aids. The college possesses a fully equipped digital designing studio computerized for the current state of the art work stations. The institute also has a designated workspace for creative projects and a special workshop/studio for work in progress. An ICT resource center serves educational purpose and Internet facility is available through out the campus for students. For this purpose, the academy has properly equipped sports facilities, and it has a health centre with first aid services. Most institutions organise alumni association for past and present students to enable them to interact.

BBA in Interior Design and Fashion Designing Rebanta Academy of Design has a total of 4 full time courses all streamlined to fashion and interior designing. The institute provides two levels of education in each specialisation: of diploma and advanced diploma programmes. The total approved intake for these courses is 120 students per year. Unfortunately, there are issues with the total number of graduates, nevertheless, having narrow specialization and knowledge of how to operate in limited class all the time, it can be stated that the academy is clearly aimed to achieve high-quality education with focus on quality, not quantity.

Rebanta Academy of Design offers its admission without much complications which make it easy for anyone to pursue an education there. As with many container design institutes, there isn’t any entrance examination that one has to sit for to gain admission into the institute. However, the academy mainly employs a counseling model of practice. Students go through a critical first consultation wherein the students’ readiness and interest in design is evaluated. If cleared the applicant is free to go for the formal applications which can be done either online or through physical at the institute. This approach enables the academy to review the applicants on qualitative factors beyond their previous accomplishments; creativity and passion for designing.
