Regency Teachers Training College, located in Sitapur, Uttar Pradesh, was established in 2005 and has grown to be one of the prominent college in India. This is a co-educational institution is affiliated with  Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj University and it aims at preparing future educators. Situated over a land area of 5.2 acres, the college provides various types of education faculty training. Among the students who have been acculturated through Regency Teachers Training College, 428 students found their opportunities to complete their studies, and the faculty members were 39. It is affiliated with the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) to convey the college’s intention of maintaining high standard in education specifically in training teachers.

Regency Teachers Training College's facilities include a composite range of facilities that directly enhance students’ performance. The college has a well equipped library which contains almost 20000 books, 12 journal and 8 encyclopedia to help student becoming great teacher. Accompanied by ultramodern facilities for instance: fully equipped centres for science and mathematics resource where students can acquire practical experience under supervision from professional teachers and skilled technicians. In an effort to address the modern world challenges, the college has an ICT resource centre fully equipped with internet to help the students master the use of modern technology. For comprehensive development, the institution has sports complex, a gymnasium, and an acoustically sound auditorium for cultural activities and seminars. The college also embraces the health facilities of its students by having a health center with the capacity for first aid services. It provides all round courses covering all sectors of teacher education. 

At present, Regency Teachers Training College offers five full time programmes that are B.Ed, D.El.Ed, M.Ed, B.A, and B.Lib.Sc. Such programmes are meant to prepare students for their professional practice by imparting to them knowledge and skills expected of a teacher. This in overall approved intake for all the courses it offers is 920 seats meaning that the institution has the capacity of churning out a pool of teacher education students every year.

As for the majority of courses, the admissions are based on the marks in the qualifying examination and or in the entrance test according to state government, UT administration & the affiliated University norms. The flagship course is B.Ed programme, with 200 seats for enrolment, and the admission is competitive to be able to identify the most serious students throughout the course. The D.El.Ed and M.Ed programmes which are also 50 seats each and also, have identical admission process in terms of merit and government polices.
