The Regional College of Science and Humanities (RCSH) was started in 2003, is an affiliated college situated in Malappuram, Kerala. RCSH is located on 35 acre campus land and is spreading its services to 863students offering various kinds of courses. The college has 33 dedicated members of faculty, and these members helps students complete 11 courses in 6 degree programmes. RCSH is dedicated to academic excellence in science, humanities & commerce streams, etc. This is evident in different facilities within the institution and different extra curricula activities meant to develop balance human beings.

Regional College of Science and Humanities boasts of well equipped facilities that are essential in improving the learning facility of the students. The college library, a place of learning, has a stock of more than 10000 books, journals, and magazines to support student’s learning needs. Computer students have a special advantage since the modern computer laboratory helps one gain hands-on experience on up-to-date software and peripherals. An added advantage of the facilities in a science institution is that there are well furnished Biochemistry lab, complementary nutrition lab for pendant courses. The college also cleaner cafeteria which provides the students with well cooked and healthy foods at any time of the day. In its bid to meet the accommodation needs of its students, RCSH has hostels that are available separately for boys and girls and are purposely built to afford comfortable accommodation to enable students do away with home considerations that may distract them from their books.

The field of study at RCS Hisrichand offers courses in a number One of subject are as and occupation path. Currently, the college has eleven programmes, all of which are full-time courses. They comprise B.Com, BA, B.Sc, BBA, M.Com and MA among others in thrust areas of the university. The total student capacity for all the offered courses of the institution is 863, the ability to train a rather large number of young professionals yearly. 

This is so because the acceptance criteria of the RCSH intend to be as uncomplicated as possible and as friendly to the student. Though particular entrance exams are not indicated here, it can be assumed that the college might use academic performance in other qualifying examination in offering places in various courses. Some of the courses in the college include the self sponsored programmes, whereby students are on their own when it comes to paying their college fees. Instead, they feature elegant and professional student services marked by a rich campus life at RCSH. More than 20 clubs and wings make the colleges list and all are formed to develop and hone the extracurricular abilities of the students. They help individual growth, leadership training, and community service in particular discipline or event. Also in the college there are special facilities for sports and physical education with the aim of building up the spirit among students . A large hall on campus is used for different activities and, as well, holds seminars that aim at enhancing cultural and intellectual development.
