The Regional Institute of Science and Technology, RIST started in 2009 as a pioneer technical institute in Meghalaya. This private affiliated college is located in the beautiful town of Jorabat and the college occupies 130 acres of land acres. The university currently has number of engineering programmes though it has an emphasis on the following five B.Tech degrees.
