In the year 2003, R.F.N.S. Senior Science College was established as a co-educational institution located at Sorapada, Akkalkuwa, Maharashtra. This college is affiliated and accredited by the NAAC. It provided a number of science programmes to the aspiring students. The campus is compact with a total area of 0.5 acres. The present enrolment of the college stands at 527 students and a faculty strength of 9 dedicated educators. Four undergraduate programmes are available at RFNS Senior Science College, all of which are meant to lead to a degree in science, with specialisations in botany, chemistry, geography, and zoology.
