RIMT Polytechnic, Gobindgarh: Admission 2025, Courses, Fees, Cutoff, Placements, Ranking

RIMT Polytechnic is a recognized affiliated college of Gobindgarh, Punjab, under the banner of the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). It admits students into a simple yet straight–forward admission procedure. The polytechnic is offering six full time diploma courses in engineering, and all of them are of a duration of three years. The courses are offered in different fields of engineering.

Degree wise Admission Process

Diploma in Civil Engineering: A maximum of 120 students per intake: admission based on qualifying exam merit; and/or any other criteria laid down by the institute or the regulatory bodies.

Diploma in Mechanical: Admission to this program, apart from being approved for 120, is similar to that for the aforementioned programs where academic background as well as skills possessed by applicants is considered.

Diploma in Electrical Engineering: A program with 90 seats, selection is based on merit through qualifying examination and few specified by the course.

Diploma in Computer Engineering: This course has an approved intake of 60 students. The admission process likely considers the applicant's aptitude for computer sciences along with their academic performance.

Diploma in Mechanical Engineering II Shift: This shift in Mechanical Engineering can take in additional 60 students on same admission criteria as the regular shift.

Diploma in Electronics and Communication Engineering: They will take in 30 students for this program and will choose them based on their qualifications and interest in the electronics and communication field.
