Founded in year 2006 RCDS is one of the most sought after dental colleges in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh. Located across 6 acres and attached to Raja Bhoj Airport, this college aims for offering modern education instilled with high tech facilities. RCDS Bhopal is also recognised with the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) as well as affiliated with the Dental Council of India (DCI) to provides quality education in dental field. This college has a total of 489 students and 79 faculty members that keep the student/faculty ratio low enough to ensure high quality of students’ interaction with their teachers.

The largest programme is the 5-year undergraduate programme, Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) offered for 100 students to build a successful career in dentistry. For those who want to have specialisation, RCDS provides several (MDS) Master of Dental Surgery, three years programmes such as Oral Maxillofacial Surgery, Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics, Prosthodontics and Crown and Bridge, Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopaedics, Periodontology, Pediatric and Preventive Dentistry, Oral Medicine Radiology, and Oral Maxillofacial Pathology and Oral Microbiology. Some of these specialised courses have small enrollment capacity and takes 2-5 students per intake thus making it to offer specialized and intensive training in various disciplines in dentistry.

The process of admission in RCDS Bhopal is centralised and needs to be done through merit lists. In context to the BDS programme, NEET is the prime criterion for admission to the BDS course. Likewise, for the MDS programmes, every candidate should pass the NEET MDS examination for their admissions.
